There are many reasons rock pubs, queer clubs and dive bars will forever have my heart, but I’ve always loved the sexy, sad, political or downright surreal scrawls on their toilet walls.

Pre-pandemic, I started taking photos of phrases I found, and compiled them into my performance piece LATRINALIA, which always went down a storm at live shows. And now it has an amazing video courtesy of this collaboration with director Sophie Broadgate and sound artist Synda Sova.
